St. Joni comes out of retirement

Joni's new album 'Shine', which I shamefacedly admit I have yet to hear, is being distributed through Starbucks.

I just read an excellent review (url at the bottom of this page) and, without even hearing the CD, would guess that though it's not all flattery, it's pretty much on the money.

That said, I will buy 'Shine' purely on the basis of my belief that Joni can do no wrong, except for committing slow suicide by cancer stick. These days whenever I watch video of her from the 70s, knowing how far she's come and how much she's been changed by the journey, it always makes me weepy.

Shine on, Joni.
